Cold Weather Roofing: Keep Your Project Moving When Temperatures Drop
Cold weather doesn’t have to put roofing projects on ice. Proper planning and cold-weather-ready solutions like JM QuickFoam®, EPDM FIT SA and TPO-SA can help crews keep projects moving when temperatures drop.
Cold-weather-ready solutions from JM:
- JM QuickFoam® Adhesive: Can be installed at ambient temperatures of 25°F (-4°C) and rising, with the adhesive maintained at 70°F (21°C) during application.
- JM EPDM FIT SA: Factory-applied adhesive allows installation at temperatures as low as 20°F, with peel-and-stick application three times faster than traditional methods.
- JM TPO-SA 60 mil: Self-adhered membrane with factory-applied adhesive, installable at temperatures as low as 20°F.
- JM RoofTech Xpert® App: Helps crews monitor jobsite conditions and estimate adhesive flash-off times using real-time temperature and humidity data.

Knight Wall Systems: Custom Parts Fabrication
Not every facade fits a standard profile. Deeper wall assemblies, unique geometries and heavier panels often call for something built to fit. Knight Wall Systems designs and fabricates custom rainscreen profiles and brackets in-house, so your support system is made for your project instead of pieced together from multiple standard parts.
What Knight can fabricate:
- Custom profiles: Z, L, C and hat profiles, girts, rails, brackets and clips, fully custom or modified from standard designs.
- Project-ready lengths: 40" to 120" to reduce cutting on site.
- Durable materials: 18, 16 or 14 gauge corrosion-resistant ZAM-coated or stainless steel, plus a black PVDF-coated option for open-joint cladding.
- Drainage options: Fully punched for drainage or unpunched.
- Warranty coverage: Custom parts are eligible for Knight's 10-year limited warranty when part of an engineered system.
Built for the wall you designed
Custom girts, rails and clips let the support system follow the facade, whether that means stepped panel layouts, deep insets around windows or extra depth for continuous insulation.
Custom parts are formed from the same corrosion-resistant steel as Knight's standard components and ship in reinforced wood crates to arrive job-ready.
Solving a tricky condition with one custom part can also cost less than stacking several standard components. REPS is ready to help solve those challenges.

REPS is proud to be part of one of the most significant public works projects in Northeast Ohio — the new Stark County Jail expansion in Canton. The $75 million facility features a four-story, pod-style housing unit designed to modernize correctional conditions and improve officer safety, with more than 72% of the workforce drawn from local Stark County contractors. Target completion is January 2028.
