Stronger Perimeter Details with JM TPO Heat Weldable Cover Tape
Perimeter details are where TPO roofs are won or lost — and JM TPO Heat Weldable Cover Tape was built specifically to make those details stronger. Designed for roofs where heat welding is the preferred method over adhesive, it gives contractors a consistent, weld-based solution from the field membrane all the way to the metal edge.
The tape features a 6" flashing strip — 3" reinforced TPO and 3" peel-and-stick — applied to perimeter metal flashing to create tight membrane-to-membrane welds and reliable adhesion to metal edges. The result is a cleaner, more resilient perimeter that holds up under real-world stress.
Why contractors and specifiers choose it:
- Consistent Workflow: If your crew is already heat welding field membrane, the Heat Weldable Cover Tape keeps that same process all the way to the edge — no adhesive changeover, no extra materials.
- Stronger Edge Adhesion: Tight membrane-to-membrane welds and reliable metal edge adhesion address the most vulnerable detail on any low-slope TPO roof.
- Extended Guarantee Eligibility: Systems using JM TPO Heat Weldable Cover Tape qualify for Peak Advantage® Guarantees up to 25 years — five years longer than systems using traditional cover tape.
- Complements, Not Replaces: This is an additional tool in the JM TPO lineup, not a replacement for traditional cover tape — giving contractors the right solution for the right job.

Exterior Spotlight
Trespa® Meteon® Featured on Alexandria, Kentucky's New City Campus
REPS is proud to have played a role in an exciting new civic project — the new City of Alexandria, KY Campus. Trespa® Meteon® HPL cladding, installed by Spohn under general contractor Pepper Construction, makes up the building's beautiful and sustainable facade.
The carefully selected exterior palette from the Trespa® Meteon® Lumen Collection included:
- London Grey — Specular, Diffuse, and Oblique finishes
- Athens White — Specular, Diffuse, and Oblique finishes
- NW 14 French Walnut — Wood Decor series
The ability to specify Specular, Diffuse, and Oblique finishes within the same color family gives design teams the tools to create visual depth and dimension across a facade without adding complexity to the system. The combination of cool neutrals with the warmth of the French Walnut wood decor creates a facade that reads as both professional and welcoming — the right tone for a building serving both law enforcement and the broader community.
Trespa® Meteon® HPL panels are manufactured using proprietary Electron Beam Curing (EBC) technology, delivering exceptional color stability, scratch resistance, and impact retention — all critical for a high-traffic civic building.

Insulation Spotlight
DuPont™ Styrofoam™ CavityMate™ Ultra — Built for Masonry
DuPont™ Styrofoam™ Brand CavityMate™ Ultra XPS Insulation is purpose-built for block-and-brick cavity wall construction. Its closed-cell structure fits right between your brick ties while simultaneously functioning as your wall's air and water barrier — eliminating a separate step and reducing the number of trades needed to close out the wall assembly.
Why masons and contractors specify CavityMate™ Ultra:
- Designed for Cavity Walls: Specialized sizing is optimized for block-and-brick construction, ensuring faster, more accurate installation and keeping projects on schedule.
- Air & Water Barrier in One: The closed-cell XPS structure resists moisture absorption and vapor transmission, protecting the wall assembly from the inside out — no separate WRB required.
- Maximum Thermal Efficiency: Delivers R-5.6 per inch to significantly reduce heating and cooling loads while meeting ASHRAE/IECC energy code requirements.
- Healthy Indoor Air Quality: The moisture-resistant structure inhibits mold growth — critical for schools, healthcare facilities, and other occupant-sensitive building types.
- Generational Durability: Will not sag, compress, or degrade over time, maintaining full thermal performance for the life of the building.
Whether you're a mason contractor building cavity walls every week or an architect specifying the next generation of high-performance masonry assemblies, CavityMate™ Ultra is the insulation solution that works as hard as the crews who install it.
