We’re excited to share new JM-branded PowerBlankets®—designed to keep canisters warm and performing at their best during cold-weather applications. These heated wraps bring canisters to a preset temperature, ensuring optimal adhesive performance.
Cold temperatures can significantly impact canister adhesives like JM Two-Part Urethane Insulation Adhesive and JM All Season Sprayable Bonding Adhesive. To ensure proper mixing, coverage, and overall performance, canisters must be maintained at ~70°F (21°C) before and during use.
When ambient temperatures are between 40°–70°F, we recommend:
- Using a JM-branded PowerBlanket®, heated wrap, or insulated box to maintain ideal temperature
- Allowing at least 36 hours to warm canisters stored below 70°F
- Reviewing product data sheets for full temperature guidelines
- Following proper handling, agitation, and setup instructions for best results
- Asking your REP if you have any questions!
